The Curity Oil Emulsion Dressing Gauze by Kendall Company is an open fine mesh that lets exudates drain away from the wound without occlusion or attaching to granulating tissue, thus decreasing the risk of skin maceration. The oil emulsion lowers pain and trauma while changing dressings and does not hinder the healing process. The consistent and porous construction does not shred or unravel when trimmed to size, and fewer dressing folds mean a more even distribution of impregnate at the fold. Indicated for minimal to heavy exuding wounds, minor 1st and 2nd burns, reconstructive surgery skin grafts, abrasions, lacerations, staple and suture lines, surgical incisions, and venous ulcers.
